This is a joint event with all Scouting organizations in the Brussels area (i.e. Scout Association, The Guide Association, Boy Scouts of America, Girl Scouts of the USA, etc.).
The Charity that has been chosen for collection purposes this year is ECOC – Europe’s Children Our Concern – a voluntary organization and registered charity, for families and institutions that provide services to children and young people with learning difficulties, in Belgium. www.ecoc.be
There is a time change this year. The service begins at 16:30 (assemble at 16:15 for procession of flags) and all children and leaders wear uniforms.
There is a small reception afterwards with cakes, mince pies and mulled wine. Donations of minced pies are very welcome.
