A very special moment… Giving a Long Service award to an Explorer who started as a Beaver Scout and is now leaving British Scouts to be a leader in the local Scout group. What more of an advertisement for Scouting’s Purpose could you make? He now joins all other Scout Leaders in the group of what I call ‘Extra-Ordinary’ people. I shared the privilege of being one of his leaders and think I speak on behalf of the others when I say that ‘He’s a Jolly Good Fellow!’.
